4th Degree and Clavers honor MLK

The 4th Degree Honor Guard participated in the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr.  Mass on Sunday January 17th, 2010 at 11:30 AM at St. Andrew Church, 801 Hastings Ave, Orlando FL 32801.
In 2007, at the request of Bishop Wenski, members of the Knights and Ladies of Peter Claver, a fraternal organization of mostly African-American Catholics, worked with the community to organize a celebration in honor of Dr. King.
Bishop Wenski recognizes that a liturgy honoring Dr. King presents “an opportunity for our community to pray together that our nation may continue to work to implement Dr. King’s dream of justice for all Americans of all races, creeds and religions.”
